CADUS is a non-profit and independent aid organization that initiates innovative and sustainable projects with a focus on medical care. The focus is on helping people to help themselves in line with their needs. The development of the projects is based on the diverse professional experiences and competencies of the team. The interdisciplinary cooperation with numerous partners is as natural for CADUS as the consideration of social and ecological aspects.
CADUS works where hardly any other aid organizations are active or where they have withdrawn. Cooperation with local partners is particularly important. Effective cooperation, interdisciplinarity and critical reflection of current NGO practice as well as early involvement of local communities are among the core values of CADUS.
So far, CADUS has implemented projects in Northeast Syria, Iraq, Bosnia and the Mediterranean.
