As a hitchhiker you can only plan your starting time but never your time of arrival? WRONG! We refuse to plan our starting time but we can guarantee to arrive exactly at dreividdel vier (3:45 p.m.) every day. When everyone is starting at seven a.m. and motivation is high, dreividdel vier might be late, but if everyone is hungover and starts putting out his or her thumb at noon, dreividdel vier can be a very decent time. In times of crushing uncertainty it is nice to have a few constants in life.
